Some Like It Hot!

I cant get over how much I love red lips paired
with liner. It just looks so classic and perfect...
and hot!
Reminds me of Marilyn Monroe times when curves were "in"!
Do you see the tiny little beauty mark I added by my eye?

QUICK TIP:
If you have a small blemish or bump turn it into a beauty mark!
It's a disguise for your blemish! :)

Products Used:
Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation in Sand Beige
Youngblood Hi-Def Powder
NYC Brow Set in Brunette
MAC Blanc Type
Sephora Liquid Liner
MAC Blunt Blush
Nars Orgasm Blush

Feminine Review: Always & Tampax Always Radiant Collection

This is going to be quite a different review,
if you saw from the title.... I wasn't sure if I wanted to do
this review on my blog because it is about a personal feminine care
product but I decided that this product is too amazing to not share about!

Influenster sent me an Always & Tampax Always Radiant pouch
that included a sample of the pad, tampon, and panty liners. I
am already a loyal customer of the Always infinity brand of pads
so I was excited to try out the new products that they released.
This summer I have been working out a lot more so I was
eager to try out the tampons to see if I liked them....

Long story short, I loved them and bought a box that same day!

One big perk about these Tampax Tampons is the easy disposal, the
packaging of the tampon is resealable meaning you can
easily throw away the applicator and such. I also find that
they are reliable and do not (ahemm) leak and such...
Because all you girls know that leakage is the one thing
we do not need to be worrying about while working out!

The Always Infinity pads have always been my favorite, and although
they are a bit more expensive than other brands I love them
because they are comfortable and they conform to my body. The NEW Always
Radiant Infinity pads conform even more to your body
and have all of the great features of the original infinity pads.

The Always Radiant Ultra Thin Liners were nice but I wouldn't go out
of my way to buy them, they are thin and nice for extra
support when you wear tampons.

Hope you enjoyed this short review :)
Thanks Influenster for introducing me to these awesome products!

Evolution of Breakfast: Quaker Soft Baked Banana Nut Bar

Breakfast on the go doesn't have to be boring and dull anymore!
Quaker has introduced their Soft Baked Banana Nut Bars and
they are D E L I S H!

Thank you so much Influenster for sending me the
bar to try out! It really makes breakfast much more yummy!
I always tend to be on the go in the morning,
running to school and such, so having something
this good to munch on is great!

The banana taste is amazing and it is soft and moist.
(it would make a perfect midnight sweet snack)

They are made with real bananas and almonds which would
be perfect for moms that want a good healthy snack for the kids!
and only 140 calories with 5g of fiber!!!!

You can purchase it at grocery stores for about $3.29 a box of 5.

YUMMERS!

Week of Reviews: Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color

Welcome to day six of

"Week of Reviews"

Here is a brief intro:

I am going to do a review everyday for a week on different types of
products, ranging from foundation to lip gloss... I hardly do reviews and I
want to start doing quite a bit more. All of the products featured on this
series will be purchased by me with my own money and of course
all of my thoughts will be completely honest.

TODAY'S ITEM WILL BE AN EXCEPTION AS I WAS SENT THIS ITEM
AS PART OF THE INFLUENSTER SUMMER VOXBOX PROGRAM!
THANKS INFLUENSTER FOR LETTING ME TEST OUT
THE NAIL POLISH! LIKE ALWAYS, THIS WILL BE AN HONEST
REVIEW AND MY OPINIONS WILL NOT BE ALTERED!
IF YOU HAVEN'T HEARD OF INFLUENSTER I WOULD DEFINITELY
RECOMMEND CHECKING IT OUT.. YOU UNLOCK BADGES,
RECEIVE SAMPLES, AND GIVE FEEDBACK. GO TO THE SITE TO
CHECK OUT MORE DETAILS :)

I love introducing my readers to new products and I think that
the best reviews are those that are short and to the point,
which is what I will attempt to do.... There is no need to fluff
up something with a lot of words! :)

trend that allows you to create a gorgeous 3-D nail art effect
in just seconds. This unique formula has been specially developed
with metallic particles – just hold the built-in magnet over wet
polish to reveal a unique design on the nail. Seal with a topcoat
for extra shine! Learn more at www.sallyhansen.com
Easy steps
STEP 1
Shake and Apply 2 coats
STEP 2
Hold Magnet for 10 seconds over wet nail polish
Instant Attraction!
Let dry and seal with a top coat for extra shine
(info taken from influenster product page)

Packaging:
As the description states the polish comes with a built in magnet
that is on the top of the cap. The top part of the cap comes off and underneath
you are left with the usual screw on nail polish cap.... I hope that the
description makes sense. (ha ha) The packaging is sleek
and simple and easy to use, which is one of the things I like.

Formula:
Magnetic nail polish has become all the rave in the blogging world
since its beginnings in Italy! And now it is more affordable and
accessible with Sally Hansen. I received the color Silver Elements, a
silver color that has a dark grey design throughout it after
using the magnet. The polish is amazingly user friendly and is not
that time consuming.... It took me about 10 minutes to do all my nails
and add a top coat. One thing I do not like is that you have to hold
the magnet really close to get the design and this sometimes causes
you to touch the nail and mess it up. Another thing I would like is if
the design shapes would show up different on each nail, the design has the
same shape and does not vary. The polish is opaque enough to cover
the nail with two coats and it also dries fast. I also noticed that the wear
time is amazing! 5 days straight for me!

Pros:
Good wear time
Accessible
User Friendly
Travel Friendly/Good Packaging

Cons:
Not THAT Affordable
Designs Could Vary More

Overall:
I really recommend this polish if you are looking for a cool
edgy look on your nails.

Creative Nights #6: Flower Child!

About a week ago I created this look and I love how it came out,
it is one of the wildest and boldest looks I have done. I had so much
fun using all those little flowers and creating a big
hibiscus flower on my right eye.... I was inspired by an old
MAC face chart called "Hibiscus Hottie"! This look took me about
3 hours to complete but it was worth every minute.

What are your thoughts on Avant-Garde (creative) looks?
I think that the visually appealing side of these looks makes them my
favorite type! My lips sort of remind me of a summer sunset, bright and bold.

Products Used:
Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation in Sand Beige
Eyeko Eye Liner Pen in Black (to outline flower and eyes)
MAC's Blunt Blush
MAC's Morange + Wet & Wild's Doll House Pink Lipstick
Sugarpill Buttercupcake Eye Shadow
MAC Espesso Eye Shadow (brows)
Sleek Blush by Three in Pumpkin (for the orange/pink eye)
Barry M Purple Dazzle Dust
Mirabelle Lash Essential Mascara
Dollar Tree Lashes and Orange Flowers :)

Week of Reviews: Nars Orgasm Blush

Welcome to day six of

"Week of Reviews"

Todays Product is
Nars Orgasm Blush

Basic Info:

Where Can It Be Purchased: Sephora, Sephora.com, Nars.com
and anywhere Nars is sold

Price: $28.00

Description:
Peachy pink with gold shimmer.
(from Sephora site)

Packaging:
The Nars packaging is pretty much a signature look that I am
sure all of you know about, the compact itself is made out of
a black rubbery material and is prone to getting dirty fast. The
Nars logo is imprinted in white alone the front and there is a mirror inside.
I feel that the rubbery packaging does help the blush stay safe because
it kind of breaks the fall if you drop it.

Formula:
I kind of feel as if the description for Orgasm is a bit off,
I feel that the color leans more to being a pink than a peach. This blush
has become a cult favorite and it has been made into a lipgloss, nail polish, and
skin illuminator and ITS FOR A REASON. The subtle gold
shimmer throughout this blush is so flattering to all skin tones ranging
from fair to dark. It instantly warms up the face and provides a sort of depth
that other blushes do not add. Compared to other blushes
that Nars offers I feel that Orgasm has a sheerness which is not found
a lot in Nars' loud blushes. The blush is soft and smooth and picks up easily
onto a brush. It also blends effortlessly into the skin without almost any
blending effort needed from you. The shimmer is also
so fine that it does not make you look like a glitter ball,
ALWAYS A PLUS :)

Pros:
Smooth
Gives Amazing Sheen
Pretty Color
Universally Flattering

Cons:
Sheer (must be built up for intensity)
Price
Product You Get (4.8 g compared to MAC 6 g)

this swatch was taken from Temptalia.com because my
camera was not letting me take good pictures of it :(

Overall:
I am very happy I purchased this blush, it has been
my go to blush all summer and if you are willing to spend
the money definitely purchase it!
